Abstract

Agriculture plays a special role in climate change. Nevertheless, European
agriculture faces some serious challenges in the coming decades. It is important to know, that opportunities for farmers may also arise as a consequence
of climate change. The study surveys the possible agricultural impacts of global warming in the European context. This sector is both a significant victim
and a mitigating factor in the carbon emission problem. The focus of the survey is on the adjustment capabilities of EU agricultural policy.
