Focus and Scope
Köz-gazdaság (ISSN: 1788-0696) is an edited and peer-reviewed journal, published in yearly volumes of four issues at Corvinus University of Budapest. It publishes original academic articles, research notes, interviews from leading economists and reviews from economics and other social sciences in English and Hungarian.
It invites contributions from the international community of social researchers.
The journal covers a wide range of relevant social issues.
Our main target is to shed light on the current economic policy question from the theoretical viewpoint. The journal is open to new questions, unusual perspectives. We strongly focus the young scholars in economics and business studies
Köz-gazdaság aims to respect publication ethics, thus has adopted current best practices to counter plagiarism. The submitted articles are analyzed during the review process, and papers subject to plagiarism are rejected. Also the authors are to comply with the referencing guidelines outlined in the relevant section.
The journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. With similar objectives we do not charge authors for the publication of their articles. Articles submission and processing is free of charge as well. Users can use and build upon the material published in the journal for non-commercial purposes.

Köz-gazdaság is published in yearly volumes of four issues.
Peer Review Process
The journal applies review. Authors are usually notified within two months about the result of the review. All Köz-gazdaság papers are reviewed using a 'double-blind' process in which reviewers are not informed who are the authors of the paper, as well as the authors not knowing who are the reviewers.
All forms of plagiarism constitute unethical publishing behavior and are unacceptable. Submitted articles are checked by URKUND.
Archiving Policy
The articles published in Köz-gazdaság are archived in the repository of the Central Library of Corvinus University of Budapest. Our web archive contains all issues since 2006.
